Right of Withdrawal

This page applies to purchases of carbon dioxide removal credits (“Credits”) from Planeteers GmbH and supplements section 8 (Cancellation and Withdrawal) of our Carbon Dioxide Removal Credit Purchase Terms and Conditions.

Withdrawal instructions for consumers

Right of withdrawal

The contract concerns the purchase of a claim to the future issuance and delivery of Credits, which will only come into existence after successful sequestration of CO₂. If you are a consumer, i.e. you purchase Credits for purposes outside your trade, business or professional activity, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within fourteen (14) days from the date of purchase in accordance with Sec. 355 of the German Civil Code (BGB), without giving any reason.

How to withdraw

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify Planeteers GmbH in writing, either by letter sent by post or by email:

Your declaration of withdrawal must be submitted to us within the withdrawal period. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.

Effects of withdrawal

If you validly withdraw from the purchase, we will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after we receive your withdrawal notice. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the purchase of the Credits.

Business buyers

Business buyers, i.e. buyers acting in the course of their trade, business or professional activity, have no statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation unless expressly agreed in writing.
