The project in Northern Germany represents Planeteers’ transition from first production to commercial-scale carbon dioxide removal. Located at a wastewater treatment plant at the Baltic Sea, the facility applies Planeteers’ closed engineered weathering approach at expanded operational scale.

Construction is underway, with production expected to begin by Q4 2026.

The plant is designed as a commercial installation to validate long-term performance and operational scalability beyond the production stage.
